- 2 cups pine nuts (almonds or sunflowers also good)
- 2-3 cups fresh basil
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Toast nuts with butter in skillet until aromatic and slightly browned. Let cool.
- Add to food processor along with all other ingredients except oil, and pulse until pasty and thick, slowly adding the olive oil until desired consistency is achieved. Salt and pepper to taste.
